Who We Are

We are a DNA-focused product development center and a centralized web-based marketplace for educators and science enthusiasts. We offer a selection of the finest models, specimens, educational systems, media, and other resources for learning about DNA, the genome, the epigenome (DNA’s mysterious “director”), and the broader world of scientific research into the beauties and wonders of our universe.

Prime Focus

Our prime focus of products and services is on learning about DNA, life’s master-code which
is the molecule of heredity of all living things, including microbes, plants, and animals. We
bring a special focus on the human genome, but our diverse offerings go beyond typical
methods of teaching the basics of DNA.

Our color-codes and music enable all ages to grasp DNA, RNA and proteins.
Our models show DNA’s dynamics methyl-tagging, acting as on/off switches.
We model mRNAs and tRNAs, and we also link amino acids to form proteins.

Dr. Thomas Woodward, the original designer of the Dynamic DNA model, has had a deep love of science and of genetics in particular since his undergraduate years at Princeton, where he majored in history and studied chemistry and anthropology as well. After completing his Ph.D. in science communication at the University of South Florida, he developed a creative approach to teaching the discoveries of DNA, RNA and proteins, which opened the door to Dr. Woodward’s Genetics Seminars at universities and schools across the world.

Michael Cave

Mike Cave is President of Florida Custom Mold, and when it came to the challenges of bringing our ideas to the crucial stage of manufacture, he stepped forward as our “Production Mastermind”.

Dave Engelhardt

Dave Engelhardt is a retired executive from a career with multinationals in the manufacturing of building products. He earned Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and MBA from Capital University.

Thomas E. Todd, DVM, CPIA

Dr. Todd is
employed at the University of Houston, where he plays a key role in IACUC Veterinarian Research Integrity and Oversight (RIO) Division of Research.
